Conductor: Art Fair of the global Majority

May 2 @ 11:00 am 7:00 pm EDT

Building on the momentum of its celebrated 2025 curated preview, CONDUCTOR’s inaugural edition will present individual artists and galleries from the Global Majority and Indigenous nations around the globe, foregrounding critical perspectives at a decisive cultural moment. Designed as an inclusive and accessible platform, the fair fosters cultural exchange while supporting artists and their galleries in expanding and strengthening their presence in the New York market.

The inaugural fair will present 28 Gallery Exhibitors and 20 Special Projects, including EXTRA Galería with RojoNegro (Mexico), Carmo Johnson Projects (Brazil) with the MAHKU (Brazil), Bockley Gallery with Grace Rosario Perkins (Diné/Akimel O’odham), Keijsers Koning with Beya Gille Gacha (Cameroon) and AWL Gallery with Annalee Davis (Barbados), among others.

The Special Projects section invites large-scale installations, sculpture, and mixed-media works, including new discoveries. Programming will feature a robust Conversation Series that will further platform topics that promote education, engagement, and stewardship. The full program will take place across PHA’s Grand Hall and the Loft.

CONDUCTOR is especially honored to present several artists whose presentations will debut works with the 2026 Venice Biennale celebrating its pre-opening beginning on May 6, 2026. Participating artists include: Annalee Davis (Main Exhibition); Tammy Nguyen (Main Exhibition); Ebony G. Patterson (Main Exhibition); RojoNegro (Mexico Pavilion); Beya Gille Gacha (Cameroon Pavilion); and Bugarin + Castle (Scottish Pavilion).

Beyond the Venice Biennale, Ana Raylander presented with Yehudi Hollander Pappi (Brazil) will also participate in the 59th Carnegie International opening on May 2, 2026.

The Exhibitors and Special Projects have been curated by CONDUCTOR Fair Director Adriana Farietta (formerly Deputy Director of The Armory Show), in collaboration with Powerhouse Arts President Eric Shiner. Further support of CONDUCTOR has been offered by an esteemed Selection Committee who has supported the vetting, review, and acceptance of CONDUCTOR exhibitors including: Luis F.
