Brooklyn Ballet presents Night / Life at NFAC

Brooklyn Ballet returns to the North Fork Performing Arts Center this May, launching a creative residency at the Sapan Greenport Theater. Building on the momentum of its March 2025 season, the company will revisit and expand Night / Life, a multifaceted program featuring world premieres by Shannon Harkins and William Ervin, a work-in-process by Artistic Director Lynn Parkerson exploring the intersection of ballet and krump, and Chopin Dances, which juxtaposes Isadora Duncan’s expressive lyricism with Michel Fokine’s classical refinement . The residency offers Brooklyn Ballet space and time to deepen the work’s thematic and choreographic ideas in a new setting, while introducing North Fork audiences to its signature fusion of ballet, contemporary, and street dance forms.​
